MUHWA 10-Place PP Microtube Freezer Box — Compact Cryogenic Storage
When you are working with a small batch of precious samples — a set of PCR products, protein aliquots from a purification run, or clinical specimens that need individual tracking — a 100-place box is overkill and wastes freezer real estate. This 10-place polypropylene box gives you compact, organized storage for up to ten 1.5–2mL tubes without dedicating an entire freezer rack shelf to a handful of samples.
The clear polypropylene body lets you read tube labels and check cap integrity without opening the box. At −80°C, PP retains enough mechanical strength for routine handling — open, pull a tube, close, return to the freezer — without cracking or stress-whitening. The material is autoclavable at 121°C, so you can sterilize the box between uses if your protocol requires it.
Numbered Grid — Track Samples by Position
Each of the 10 wells carries a molded-in number (1–10) so you can log tube positions in your lab notebook. Box 3, Position 7 — unambiguous identification without label tape or marker on the box exterior. The numbered base stays legible through repeated freeze-thaw cycles and autoclave runs.
Dimensions That Fit Where You Need Them
The box measures 3.3 cm wide × 7.5 cm long × 5 cm tall. It fits on standard freezer rack shelves, in benchtop cooling blocks, and inside insulated shipping containers for cold-chain transport. The hole diameter of approximately 13 mm accommodates standard 1.5–2mL microcentrifuge tubes and cryovials with enough clearance for gloved retrieval — no forcing tubes into undersized wells with frozen fingertips.

Applications
Store working aliquots of restriction enzymes, polymerases, or antibodies at −20°C. Organize PCR products from a single experiment in one box. Transport clinical or field samples in a compact, leak-resistant container. Use as a secondary container inside larger freezer boxes when you need to segregate sample subsets by project or user. The 10-place format also works well for teaching labs — each student or group gets their own labeled box.
